Layla’s story began on the streets of Mexico as a stray puppy … malnourished, skinny and totally alone.

Thankfully she found refuge at a local dog shelter but life has not been easy for this sweet soul. Now two years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Layla developed an eye condition which desperately needs to be correctly diagnosed and subsequently treated.

Unfortunately there were few veterinarian specialists qualified to help Layla in Mexico so we believed the best option was to bring her to Canada. That has been accomplished!!

Happy to say that Layla landed in Toronto on January 27th, 2025 and was welcomed by the foster family with whom she shall begin her new life.

Layla is a sheer joy to be around. Affectionate, trusting, great on a leash and receptive to all attention. This is a dog who will truly steal your heart.
