UPDATE 15 Nov 2018:

Vixen was adopted by a family who originally thought they would act as her foster parents until a permanent, forever home appeared on the horizon. Vixen’s loving nature and friendly, sociable ways, however, won over all members of her household and the only option they felt to be feasible was to open their hearts to her on a permanent basis.

Vixen is a former Montreal resident who was, sadly, abandoned and thus confined to a cage in a municipal shelter. Her gentle nature and stunning appearance endeared Vixen to one and all and Oasis agreed to bring her to Ontario to be placed in the loving care of a foster family.

Vixen is 6 years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is definitely a “lap cat” and a non stop “purr machine”. We believe that she would thrive in most any home but a retired couple or senior citizen would, no doubt, feel extremely comfortable with adding this well behaved, sociable feline to their household.
