UPDATE 21 February 2018:

Sylvester has finally found his new, forever home with a Whitby family. He will be the only pet in the household so shall “be in his glory” receiving all of the attention that befits such a lovely boy. A quiet, relaxed household is what we were hoping for and our prayers have been answered.

Sylvester is an extremely lucky boy. A caring, community member rescued this three-year-old cat from her back yard where he had obviously been dumped.

Neutered, declawed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Sylvester is a polydactyl feline, which is quite unique.

Currently in foster care and seeking a permanent home, his carers describe Sylvester:

…. loves to drink water from a glass
…. revels in being the centre of attention
…. he is a “great talker”
…. he is hugely fond of treats but not wet food
…. definitely doesn’t want to be a lap cat
…. should be the only cat in the family or, at the most, one of two

We suspect that the best match for this handsome cat would be a quiet, forever home, where he can share his love as the one, and only, pet for a mature single person, or potentially a retired couple.
