Rex is no longer available for adoption. His present family have decided to keep this boy themselves. With the help of a professional trainer they’ve been able to plan to make his life much more manageable with a view to accommodating the busy, active lifestyle they experience “day to day”.

Rex, a three year old, pure bred Australian Shepherd, is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Overall he is a happy, loveable boy but has been under a great deal of stress over the course of the last twelve months due to illness in his human family. This has resulted in Rex exhibiting a strong protective attitude towards one of his owners and he has therefore been placed on a waiting list for a series of classes with a well known dog behaviourist/trainer.
Rex’s present owner absolutely adores him but feels it best if he find a new, forever home with someone who can understand this boy’s need for plenty of physical exercise and daily challenges to his sharp, alert mind. Rex is exceedingly loyal and, although quite reserved with strangers, has the makings of a fabulous family pet in an “adult only” household. We hold high hopes for this stunning boy if the right match can be found.
