UPDATE 28 Sept 2015:

Darla and Penelope are headed to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Their new owner is simply thrilled to welcome both girls into her family and they will, undoubtedly, be the centre of attention for both she and her partner.

Penelope and Darla are two beautiful Shar Pei /Labrador cross sisters who are looking for a new home.

At twelve months of age, these girls are up-to-date on all vaccinations and have just been given a clean bill of health by the vet.

Darla.

Darla is a 15.7 kg. sweetie who loves to run in the park, lounge around the house and play with her sibling. Gentle, curious Penelope is a “cuddle bug” who enjoys chewing her toys and is perfectly fine navigating the stairs in her residence in spite of being blind.

Both dogs are good with other canines and children but have not, at this point in time, been exposed to cats. Penelope and Darla are presently residing in a wonderful foster home with a family who are well acquainted with the Shar-Pei breed. There is another dog (senior) in the household and both girls get along very well with her. It is believed that Penelope and Darla can be separated although this was not our original intent. Penelope and Darla are very affectionate but Darla is the more “high energy” of the two whereas Penelope is quite content to play quietly and thoroughly enjoys supervised walks.
