Margerine. Rescue cat recovery. for adoption

BEFORE: (July) Poor rescue cat Margerine was the epitome of “down & out”.

UPDATE 1 Dec 2020:

Margerine just moved to Toronto. After many months with Oasis, this lovable boy has found his new, forever home with a young man originally from Western Canada where he owned several dogs. Life in the GTA, without a pet, can be lonely so he was thrilled to meet and welcome Margerine into his life.

Margarine, at 7 years of age, has not had an easy time. When he came into our care in July he was indeed a sight.

Skinny, beat up, covered with fleas and ticks, missing a large portion of his fur and bearing a multitude of scratches and scars, this poor boy was the epitome of “down & out”.

Happily Oasis recognized his potential and chose to help. Margerine was neutered and brought up-to-date on his vaccinations. Dental surgery was performed to remove a number of teeth and he was placed on a diet of nutritious food to set him on the road to recovery.

Today he is in excellent health. Margerine is a sweet and gentle feline. He loves his treats and wet food and is flourishing in his present foster home. We know his forever family is just around the corner.

AFTER: (Oct 30) Sweet and gentle Margerine is in excellent health and searching for his forever home.
