UPDATE 19 Aug 2022:

Macho has been adopted by a retired couple who were instantly smitten at the “meet & greet” with this delightful canine. The handover was seamless, for the previous owners thoroughly approved of the match, and we are thrilled for Macho.

Macho is an absolute gem. This seven year old Beagle, neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, is an absolute joy as a canine companion and, but for circumstances beyond their control, his present family would never give him up. His owner says the following:

Macho, an adorable and loyal Beagle, born on December 23, 2014. Macho is currently approximately 30lbs, and has always been very playful and energetic as if he was still a puppy. He enjoys long walks and runs outside, and even has experience walking on the treadmill for those rainy days. Macho enjoys playing fetch, gets along with other dogs, and has lots of experience at dog parks. He’s always had excellent visits to the veterinarian for routine checkups, and the vet usually says Macho is the most healthy Beagle they’ve ever seen.

Macho has a calm demeanor when the family is simply lounging around at the house. He either lays in his bed or at your feet and enjoys a nice nap. He walks really well on a leash once he gets those initial energy bursts out of his system. His nose is really strong, so his nose stays to the ground the majority of the time outside. He knows the commands of “sit”, “stay”, “come”, “paw”, “go potty”, “eat” and “no.”
