Theo. Young dog for adoption. Toronto Durham Region. GTA

UPDATE 29 January 2019:

Theo is now a resident of the province of Quebec. His owner is an experienced “dog person” and lost an older canine to illness not long ago. Her existing three year old pet was grieving that loss and needed a companion. She spied Theo on our website and made the four plus hour drive down to not only meet but adopt him. A truly good news story!!

Here he is with his new canine companion. They became best of friends on their first meeting. Congratulations Theo.

Theo, a Labrador cross, is an absolute sweetheart. Just ten months of age, neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, this playful, affectionate boy is a typical puppy.

Theo loves to meet new people, thoroughly enjoys toys of all kinds and chases his ball with dogged determination. Theo gets along fabulously with other dogs and shows no sign of prey instincts with cats or “pocket pets”.

Theo knows his basic commands. He does not currently enjoy car rides, is definitely not a fan of being confined to a crate and has developed a food-guarding issue after being teased by youngsters in his previous home. At his tender young age, Theo would benefit greatly from an owner who can provide time for exercise and training. An active, adult home would be a great match for Theo. Teenagers in the home are also a definite possibility.
