UPDATE:
Jade has been adopted by a young woman living in Toronto who also has another cat. Jade was the first choice of this individual when she was spotted on our website. Congratulations to you both and best wishes from the gang at Oasis Animal Rescue.

Original Story:
Jade is absolutely gorgeous. It is a complete puzzle as to how a lovely little creature such as this two year old female could be dumped in a residential area of Durham Region to fend for herself.
Luckily and thankfully a compassionate member of the community took this young lady under her wing and ensured that she was checked out by a vet and given her vaccinations.
Now, however, it is time for Jade to find her forever home. Extremely sociable, energetic and playful, this long haired feline would do well in a home with other pets or, alternatively, thrive as the sole beneficiary of any treats, toys or affection available in a “single pet” household.
