Helma has been adopted by a couple who reside in Little Britain. They presently have another dog who got along famously with Helma at the pre-adoption “meet & greet”. Two felines will also share her new residence. A busy household!!

Helma is an exceedingly attractive girl in need of a forever home that can provide her with the proper environment in which to flourish.
Intelligent, willing to learn, eager to please, and very curious, this 4 year old German Shepherd is fully housetrained and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Helma does not pull when being walked and is oblivious to loud noises, cars roaring by and bikes passing.
Helma’s origins are not known but we do believe she is a purebred. Only a family that can accommodate her exercise needs (regular walks, runs in the park, an accessible backyard etc.) will be considered as potential adopters.
Helma presently resides with foster parents who own another canine (and all is well) and a cat would be fine in her new home. Her behaviour indicates that she may have been abused at some point in time by a man but she has no problems, whatsoever, with her foster dad. She has been good in the car and, at her assessment, appears to get along fine with children (accepting treats from a child on her walk).
