UPDATE 2 Sept:
We’re happy to announce that Foster has found his forever home. This friendly dog has been adopted by a couple in Toronto who also have a 3-1/2 year old rescue dog of the same breed. They live in a beautiful condo overlooking a very popular park (heaven for dogs).
Foster’s new family are from Chicago and the gentleman is a lead actor in a series being shot and produced for CTV. Hopefully a LONG run is in the offing.
Have fun Foster. And best wishes to you and your new family from all of us here at Oasis.

Original Text:
Foster, a five year old Australian Shepherd, has boundless energy and is looking for a family that can appreciate a dog who loves to take long walks, accompany his owner on daily runs or engage in challenging hikes.
Playing fetch, chasing a ball or Frisbee and carousing with other canine friends are favorite pastimes for this engaging, friendly boy and we hope that Foster can find an environment in which his love of the outdoors can be satisfied.
Friendly, sociable and yet very protective, this is a pet who bonds well with the family grouping in which he is placed and needs a firm, patient hand to ensure that he feels secure when encountering strangers.
Foster is a working breed dog and should be kept occupied and stimulated as much as possible. Neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations, Foster is truly a lovely dog and we are seeking a family who will treat him as both companion and friend.
