UPDATE (May 3, 2024):

Daisy is headed to her new home in Northern Ontario. Her adoptive family drove 16 1/2 hours ( one way) to meet her for they live just west of Thunder Bay. The connection was immediate and Daisy subsequently climbed into her now forever mom’s vehicle and headed out on the long journey to her permanent home. Such a good news story!!

DAISY is a beautiful Old English Sheepdog. Four years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, this shy gentle girl has not had an easy life to date having been used as a brood bitch to produce litter upon litter of puppies. Those horrific conditions have come to an end and now Daisy is free to exhibit all of the positive, personality traits this breed is well known for. Intelligent, sociable and with a strong sense of family, Sheepdogs are renown for being “big cuddly teddy bears” who are very adaptable and get along with other dogs and cats. Daisy needs a family with both the patience and understanding to understand the trauma she has endured and grant her time to learn to trust people once again.
