UPDATE Aug 11, 2017
Brody was adopted yesterday by a lovely family and he will be moving to Shawville, Quebec. The husband of the family is an experienced dog owner and they live on a far ranging country property. Brody will therefore have lots of space to roam in as well as a ten year old boy to play with.
Best wishes to Brody and his new family.

Original Post:
Brody is a purebred, silver (dilute chocolate) American Labrador Retriever. Just shy of ten months of age he is neutered, up-to-date on all of his vaccinations and follows a preventative flea and tick regimen.
Brody’s present family (three children ages 10, 14 and 16 and their parents) adore this boy but they lead an exceedingly busy life and simply do not have the necessary time to spend with such an energetic, playful puppy. Brody has never been exposed to cats but would be thrilled if his new home contained another dog.
A typical working dog Brody is inquisitive, easily trained and full of the desire to please. An adult couple who could take him on regular walks, engage him in activities at the local dog park or hike with him on outdoor trails would, we suspect, be an ideal match for Brody.
