UPDATE 6 August 2015:
After many months Boomer has been adopted by a close relative of his previous owner. Obviously this will allow him to visit, on occasion, his original family which will be good for all involved.
Congratulations and best wishes to all!

Original Text:
Boomer desperately needs a new home. This boy originally came from a “puppy mill” and life has not treated him very well to date.
At four years of age Boomer is visually impaired and, with two young children in his present home, the constant activity is unfortunately terrifying for him.
Boomer is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He inhabits the same residence as a cat and they co-exist peacefully. Affectionate, yet wary of strangers, Boomer definitely exhibits signs of separation anxiety but that is to be expected.
We strongly suggest that if you presently have young children in your home (or have regular visits from grandchildren) Boomer would not likely be a good match for adoption . Boomer is a fabulous boy but would do best in an adult only household with a senior couple or retired single able to assist and support young Boomer.
