It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Beverly Christine Gibson McCloskey early on Friday morning November 14th, 2014.
Bev was the greatest supporter of Oasis – from day one. Her sage advice, objective counsel, numerous financial contributions and overall interest in the growth and success of the rescue will be greatly missed.
Bev’s wisdom and commitment has helped Oasis provide a positive future for over 1000 Durham Region pets-in-need. On behalf of every one of them, thank you Bev.
Bev will be missed very much. With unending gratitude, we’ll cherish the gift of Bev’s amazing strength and inspiration to guide us into the future.
Beverly C’s Critter Connections (named in her honour), which contributes 25% of its income to Oasis, will continue to grow and provide the rescue with an invaluable source of funding.
