AUSSIE. Young Australian Cattle Dog From Mexico Finds Loving New Home in Scarborough!

UPDATE (May 8, 2024):

Aussie has found her perfect match with a family who live in Scarborough. The “meet & greet” was a great success and Aussie obviously bonded with the six year old daughter in her new household. What a happy outcome for a girl who truly deserves the love, attention and security of a forever owner.

ORIGINAL POST:

AUSSIE is an Australian Cattle dog who, strange as it may seem, was thrown from a car and abandoned at the gates of an animal rescue in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Not in particularly good health at the time, she was quickly treated, brought up-to-date on her vaccinations and spayed. We estimate that Aussie is about 3-4 years of age. Very sweet and kind, this girl loves attention but is somewhat intimidated by the number of dogs she presently resides with. We believe that a quiet, secure environment with a family looking for a canine who rarely barks but enjoys human companionship is the perfect fit for Aussie.
