UPDATE 14 Nov, 2016:

Amiko (aka Niko) has found his forever home with a single mom and her adult son. An elderly dog is also part of the household but it is out in the park and on long walks where Niko will gain the majority of his exercise and have an opportunity to interact with other canines of all shapes and sizes.

Amiko (a.k.a. Niko), at 4 1/2 months of age, is truly a delight!! Affectionate, sociable, full of energy and always ready to play, we believe Niko is an Australian Kelpie breed (perhaps mixed) as his personality denotes the breed: superior intellect, independent and an intense passion for keeping busy.

Niko up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations and looking for a forever home with folks who can provide him with lots of attention.

Niko’s previous owner was a single mother with two young children and could not devote the time necessary to help this boy blossom into the wonderful dog he is intended to be.

He is presently living in a residence which contains another dog and loves the companionship. Runs in the park, access to a back yard and a number of daily walks would suit our Niko to a tee!!
