Sammi. Sadly Has Passed Away. RIP Sammi

Sammi the cat, for adoption.

UPDATE 12 August:

We’re sorry to announce that Sammi has passed away from an untreatable condition. So sad for such a young cat.

RIP Sammi.

————————————————

Original Story:

Sammi is the direct beneficiary of the compassion and “good Samaritan” attitude of a Durham Region resident. When Sammi’s owner was admitted to a retirement residence he could not take this beautiful girl with him. None of his extended family were prepared to make room for a cat although the dog in the household was successfully re-homed.

The future looked bleak for our Sammi until a neighbour agreed to care for her until another home could be found.

Just four years old, Sammi is spayed and up-to-date with her vaccinations. She’s is very affectionate, loves to cuddle and, having been accustomed to living with senior citizens, would do well in an environment where she can be doted on and receive lots of undivided attention.

A dog or cat in her new surroundings would not present a problem and may, in fact, provide hours of companionship for a feline with many, many good years in front of her.
