UPDATE 11 April:

We’re pleased to announce that, in her temporary foster home yesterday morning (April 10), cat Misty gave birth to two beautiful kittens.

Naturally we’re hoping to be able to share photos soon but right now momma cat is curled up and busy nursing the little ones – so it’s a little difficult to get any type of meaningful photo – yet. However, we can tell you that one of the kittens is black and white and the other is a golden colour – so it would appear that they both have some of their mother’s black-white-gold colouring.

All going well, both of the kittens and their mother will be available for adoption in about eight weeks time. If you’re thinking of adopting a rescue pet, contact us today at 289-385-6293 or complete and send the form below.

Congratulations Misty – and welcome to the world Little Ones!

Original Story:

Misty, at five years of age, is about to be a mother again. This little gal has been deemed 100% healthy by the vet and is soon to be placed in a quiet, relaxed foster environment where she and her litter can thrive.

Misty. A cat for adoption.

Misty is friendly but very shy and is accustomed to living with other cats. Her former owner just recently had a baby and does not feel that the family has the time to accommodate Misty and her brood as well. No worry. We, at Oasis, will care for this feline mother-in-waiting and ensure that both she and her kittens find loving, forever homes.

To register your interest in adopting Misty or one of her (as yet unborn) kittens, please contact us today.
