UPDATE:
Sadly, our veterinarian recommended euthanasia for this handsome cat. He was diagnosed with late stage kidney disease.
Lucky had been abandoned in an apartment and perhaps his previous owner knew how sick he was.
R.I.P. Lucky.

Original Story:
Lucky is definitely a “lucky” boy for a compassionate Durham Region resident spotted him and called Oasis.
This eight year old feline, up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutered, was seemingly abandoned by his owners. His gentle, laid back personality and sociable behavior indicates that he has spent the majority of his days as a house cat and not on the streets.
Lucky loves to stretch out and receive as much attention as the human in his life will allow. He would be fine in a household as the only cat but does get along very well with other animals.
We can strongly recommend him as a “lap cat” for senior citizens or a quiet, laid back companion for a busy professional couple.
