International March to Close All Slaughterhouses

Toronto’s first ever March to Close All Slaughterhouses, which will be held this Saturday, June 15, 2013. Marchers will be highlighting the atrocities committed in slaughterhouses and demanding that slaughterhouses be shut down.

Similar events will be held in other major cities around the world to coincide with the Toronto event, including events in Paris, Toulouse, London (UK), San Diego, Rio de Janeiro, Florence, Perth and Sao Paulo.

Participants are asked to wear a red t-shirt (an official March t-shirt is also available) and to bring an item (e.g. notes, poems, flowers, photographs, incense, drawings or vegan candles) to create a memorial to slaughterhouse victims at the end of the march.
